Home/Roof Replacement
Roofing ServicesRoof replacement without the runaround.
A written scope before we start, one to two build days, a magnetic nail sweep after, and a 15-year workmanship warranty on top of the manufacturer's coverage. This is the flagship job, done like a case file.
We tell you repair first, when repair is true.
A roof earns replacement three ways in Kansas: age, storm damage past the repair line, or a repair history that has turned into a subscription. Our inspection tells you which one you have, in writing, with photos. About a third of the replacement calls we take end in a repair recommendation instead (illustrative figure), because a desk that inflates scopes stops being trusted, and trust is the entire business model.
- Shingles past 15 to 20 years in Kansas sun and hail are usually at end of life even without a storm.
- Widespread hail bruising or wind creasing means the mat is compromised, even where it looks fine from the ground.
- Three repairs in five years on the same roof is a replacement priced in installments.
If a storm caused it, replacement usually starts as an insurance claim. Our claims guide covers that lane end to end.

What the one to two days actually look like.
Scope & schedule
You get the written scope, the material list, and the build date. Materials land in your driveway a day or two before, staged, not dumped.
Tear-off & deck check
Old roof off by mid-morning. Every sheet of decking inspected; soft or rotten wood is replaced at the published per-sheet rate, photographed first.
Dry-in & build
Ice-and-water at eaves and valleys, synthetic underlayment, new flashing, drip edge, ventilation corrected, then shingles or panels to the manufacturer's spec.
Sweep & sign-off
Magnetic nail sweep of the yard and drive, haul-off the same day, and a final photo report with your warranty registration.
Built for the hail alley, not the brochure.
Most Wichita replacements land on architectural asphalt shingles, and for good reason: strong wind ratings, honest 20-plus-year service life, and the best cost per year of protection in the category. For hail country we quote impact-rated Class 4 shingles as a line item on every replacement, because some insurers offer premium credits for them and the upgrade cost is small while the crew is already up there. Details live on the asphalt shingles page.
If you are replacing for the second or third time, look hard at standing seam metal. The install costs more, but the fifty-year math usually wins, and the hail resistance is in a different class. We put the numbers side by side on the materials comparison page, monthly payments included.
Every replacement carries the manufacturer's material warranty plus our 15-year Overwatch workmanship warranty (a fictional demo program): if our installation leaks, we fix it. And every project can run through financing with monthly-payment framing, so the decision is a number you can plan around, not a lump sum.
Asked before every tear-off.
How much does a roof replacement cost in Wichita?
Most single-family asphalt replacements land in a range you will see quoted from roughly $9,000 to $18,000 depending on size, pitch, and material (illustrative demo range). We quote fixed scopes, not estimates that grow, and financing frames it monthly, from about $115/mo on approved credit (illustrative).
Can you replace my roof in one day?
Most asphalt roofs under 35 squares, yes: tear-off in the morning, dried-in by midday, shingles down by evening. Larger, steeper, or metal roofs run two to five days, and the schedule is in writing either way.
Do I need to be home during the build?
No. We need power access and cars out of the driveway. Everything else, including the final walkthrough, can be scheduled around you.
What happens if you find rotten decking?
It gets photographed, you get a call or text before we proceed, and replacement wood is billed at the per-sheet rate printed in your contract. No surprise change orders.
One storm line. One desk. Zero guesswork.
Start with a free written damage report. If your roof is fine, we will tell you that too, in writing, and you can get back to your week.
