“AC quit at 1 pm on the hottest Saturday of June. Booked the 4 to 6 window from my phone, Devon showed at 4:20, capacitor swapped, cold air by 5. The price he quoted on the porch is the price I paid.”
Nobody wakes up wanting to buy an air conditioner, so we make the buying part short and the owning part long. A Kelvin comfort advisor runs a real load calculation on your house, not a square footage guess, and hands you three system options on one page: good, better, and best, each as a total price and as a monthly payment.
Install day is one day for almost every changeout. The crew floors and walls are protected, the old equipment leaves on our truck, the county permit is pulled by us (fictional permit process for this demo), and the system is commissioned with measured airflow and refrigerant charge, not just switched on.
When replacement beats another repair
- The unit is past 12 to 15 years and the repair bill keeps climbing
- R-22 refrigerant system with a leak: refilling is throwing money
- Cooling bills creep up every summer while comfort gets worse
- It cools the house but never quite pulls the humidity out
- You are planning to sell within a few years and want the inspection line item gone
What the quote includes, always
Every Kelvin install quote is turnkey: equipment, labor, new pad or brackets, line set flush or replacement, a new thermostat if yours is older than the system, electrical disconnect, permit, inspection, and haul-away. If a duct repair is needed to hit the rated airflow, it is in the number before you sign, not discovered after.
You get a 10 year parts warranty registered for you, a 2 year Kelvin labor warranty (both illustrative for this demo), and the first year of Comfort membership included so the first tune-up is already on the calendar.

Fair questions
How fast can you install?
If you approve a quote by mid-afternoon, the install is usually within two to three business days, and next-day is common in shoulder season. No-cool households with medical needs jump the board.
Do monthly payments require perfect credit?
Financing runs through a soft-pull application first, so checking your options does not ding your score. Approvals span a wide credit range; terms vary (all financing figures on this demo are illustrative).
Why do you insist on the load calculation?
Oversized units short-cycle, control humidity badly, and die younger. The Manual J calculation takes our advisor about 40 minutes and is the difference between a system that fits and one that merely fits the invoice.

“Tina found a duct leak two other companies missed. House finally cools evenly upstairs. Worth every dollar of the diagnostic.”
“They text you a photo of your tech and where the van is. My wife was home alone with the baby and actually knew who was knocking. Small thing, huge thing.”
