June Okada
June directed a photography gallery for nine years, which turns out to be nearly perfect training for selling houses properly. An exhibition and a listing are the same problem: a thing of value, a short window, an audience that must be found rather than waited for, and a record that outlives the sale. June produces every Corbel listing to that standard, from the light the photographer waits for to the paper the catalog is printed on.
Her own market practice centers on the Mill District and the city's converted buildings, where her eye for fabric and her patience with association documents make her the broker other agents quietly call with questions. She keeps the brokerage's building-by-building notes on every loft conversion in the city, a document that has settled more than one debate.
June lives in a mill conversion herself, on a floor she chose for the afternoon light, and she has never once apologized for the freight elevator.

What is your house worth, presented properly?
Not an instant algorithm number. A broker's valuation, prepared against the sales we have actually stood inside, delivered in a conversation rather than an email blast.
