The Sable is a knitted polo done properly: a fine-gauge merino-cotton rib with an open, self-fabric collar that stays down without a stiff placket. It has enough weight to drape and enough stretch to move, and it bridges the gap between a tee and a shirt for the eight months a year that call for exactly that. Tuck it, do not, wear it under the Halden. It behaves.
