The autumn edit
A quieter kind
of new.

Chapter one · The knit
Warmth without weight
We start every collection with the knitwear, because it is the hardest thing to do well and the easiest thing to do cheaply. Ours is knitted in small runs on old machines, from merino spun for softness rather than speed. A good sweater should feel like it was already yours the first time you put it on, and hold that feeling through a decade of winters. That is the bar, and it is why our line is short.
The Sable polo and the Aran crew are the two pieces we would keep if we could only keep two. Everything else in the collection is built to layer over them.

Chapter two · The tailoring
Sharp, never stiff
Tailoring lost its way when it started to feel like armour. Our jackets are half-canvassed and soft-shouldered, cut to move like knitwear and read like a suit. The Varenna blazer and the Marlowe trouser were designed as a pair and photographed as a pair, but each one quietly rewrites whatever it is worn with. This is tailoring for people who do not think of themselves as tailoring people.
We cut in a length meant to be hemmed to you, the way clothes used to be sold, because fit is the difference between something you wear and something you keep.
