Steel frame of a commercial building being topped out beside a tower crane

One contract, no gaps

As your general contractor, Northbeam holds every trade contract and every risk that comes with them. Scope gaps, schedule collisions, and coordination failures are our problem by design, never yours. You get a single number, a single schedule, and a single phone call when you want the truth about either.

The jobsite is the product

Owners judge a GC by the building; we ask them to judge the jobsite too. Clean laydown yards, published quiet hours near occupied neighbors, daily pre-task safety plans, and a superintendent who can explain the three-week look-ahead without opening a laptop. Our field leaders average fourteen years with the company (illustrative), and it shows in how their sites run.

Self-perform where it counts

Concrete and rough carpentry stay in-house. Those two trades sit on the critical path of nearly everything we build, and keeping them under a Northbeam badge means framing velocity and slab quality are numbers we manage daily, not subcontractor promises we audit monthly.

Reporting owners actually read

  • Weekly one-page owner report: schedule, cost, decisions needed
  • Monthly cost reconciliation, open book on request
  • Milestone ledger written into the contract, float ownership defined
  • Closeout binder with as-builts, warranties, and measured QC data
