Pressed in Portland

Our View Decks

Three shapes for three kinds of day: Splinter for the streets, Curbside for the commute, Ghost Rail for the bowl. All pressed in the back room from seven plies of hard rock maple.

Splinter

Splinter is the deck we press the most and replace the fastest, which is exactly the compliment a street board wants. The mold runs a deeper pocket under the back foot so flip tricks come off the toe with less effort, and the wheelbase stays tight for ledge work and quick feet. If you skate curbs, rails, and stair sets, start here.

Curbside

Curbside exists because half of skateboarding is just getting there. The concave is mellow so your feet can live anywhere, the nose is functional enough for the occasional ollie up a curb, and the shape clears bigger, softer wheels without risers doing all the work. It is the board by the door, the one you grab without thinking.

Ghost Rail

Ghost Rail is shaped for speed and coping. A deep concave locks your feet in through carves, the squared tail gives grinds a bigger landing pad, and the extra width keeps the board steady when the walls get vertical. Pool skaters asked us for this one for two years. We took the hint.

Construction

Seven plies, no filler

Hard rock maple veneer, water-based glue, and a two-day rest in the mold before trim. Small batches mean the press never rushes.

Setup

Gripped free at the counter

Every deck bought in the shop gets grip applied and trimmed while you wait, plus a hardware check on the trucks you are moving over.

Guarantee

Warped? We re-press it

If a deck warps in the first sixty days without water damage, bring it back. You will leave with a fresh one and our apology sticker pack.
