The palette

Stamped and textured flatwork in ashlar, flagstone, and wood-plank patterns; integral color and shake-on hardeners; sandblast and acid-wash finishes; exposed aggregate; board-formed and form-lined site walls and seat walls. Residential pool decks and patios on one side of the book, commercial plazas, courtyards, and streetscape bands on the other.

Desert-proof detailing

Phoenix decorative work fails at the surface: sealers chalk under UV, dark colors cook bare feet, and thermal movement finds every missing joint. We spec UV-stable acrylic or penetrating sealers, steer pool decks toward lighter reflective color loads, and cut relief joints on the same 24-to-30-times-thickness rule as our warehouse slabs, hidden inside the pattern lines where the eye will not find them.

Color is batched, not brushed on

Integral color goes in at the plant against a retained dose record, so the patio you extend in three years can actually match. Every stamped job gets a sample slab on site, approved and kept until closeout: pattern, color, release, and sealer, all signed off before the first truck rolls.

Same discipline, prettier surface

Decorative pours run the same pour cards, cylinder sets, and hot-weather plans as our structural work. A stamped plaza is still a slab; it should still break above the number. The difference is only that this concrete gets photographed on purpose.
