Signal cleanHygiene

A cleaning that opens with a charted biofilm map and closes with a second one, so the change is documented instead of implied. Generic protocol description for this fictional demo.

EN-260401 Hygiene

Guided biofilm therapy, mapped before it is cleaned.

Most cleanings start with a scaler. Ours starts with a map. Plaque is disclosed, photographed, and charted so both of us can see exactly where the biofilm lives before a single instrument touches enamel.

Then warm-water air polishing lifts the film, ultrasonic work is confined to the sites that actually need it, and the visit closes with a second map so the change is visible, not implied. Illustrative protocol shown; care is always planned individually.

Cases that open this file.Is this treatment right for you?

  • 01Routine maintenance on a 3-to-6-month cadence, tuned to you rather than a template.
  • 02A long gap since the last cleaning and a preference for seeing the starting point before anything is scaled.
  • 03Gum-health watchers who want the same charts the clinician sees, visit over visit.
  • 04A documented baseline before starting an aligner program or veneer work.

Illustrative fits only. A real recommendation follows examination.

Process · four steps

How the file runs. How it works.

Disclose + map

Plaque is disclosed, photographed, and charted. Twenty minutes that replace guessing with a document both of us can read.

Lift

Warm-water air polishing lifts the film from every charted site before any instrument touches enamel.

Target

Ultrasonic work is confined to the sites the map says need it. Nothing is scaled on principle.

Re-map

A second map closes the visit. The change is visible, the next cadence is set from your data.

Questions · two, answered generically

Does the mapping add time to the visit?

About twenty minutes on a first visit, less on recalls. It is the part of the hour that removes guessing, so it is the part we refuse to skip. (Generic description for this fictional demo.)

How often should I come in?

Cadence is set from your own maps, not a wall calendar: for most people it lands somewhere between three and six months. The re-map at each visit is what tells us whether the interval is right.
